Description
The Chelsea 489XWITX-H3XD or 489XWITXH3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift type and delivers up to 55 HP output power, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with keyway pairs with internal parts that are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Tapered bearings handle load duty in place of needle bearings.
