Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZLDAX-A5RF or 489ZLDAXA5RF, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack units, eliminating the adapter plate that creates an extra potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft in this application range. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key supports shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability.
